Leavenworth, Washington

Brian and I wanted to go on a little getaway before our little baby boy arrives, so we went to Leavenworth. We got up early Saturday morning and headed out. We spent most of Saturday looking at all the shops, eating and getting an old fashion Bavarian photo taken of us! We stayed at the Bavarian Lodge which is right in town. It was so much fun, we can't wait to take our little one there so he can go sledding with all the other kids!

Italian lunch :)

B wine tasting, we got a couple bottles so I can try them later!

All the locals we met there told us to eat at PAVS! So we made a reservation and I'm soooo glad we did! It was amazing!! We had a cheese fondue for an appetizer and I had a Ham and cheese crape and Brian had a seafood crape. We got a YUMMY slice of chocolate cake for dessert. We were so full, but it was one of the best meals I have ever had!!

In the distance you can see that they were making snow. The weekend after we were there they were going to film a full length movie, so they wanted to make sure there was enough snow on the hills where the kids would all sled. It snowed while we were there too, I'm sure they will have plenty of snow!

They still had lights up from Christmas, it was so pretty!!

We went to this outdoor pub that was so cool. You eat/drink outside with no roof. There were heating lamps and fireplaces to keep you warm. It was a lot of fun! :) I enjoyed hot coco while Brian enjoyed a good ole German Beer! :)

Brian got out of the car while we were waiting for traffic to move again and made a snowman... he stayed on the hood for a few miles once we started moving again :)
