Thanksgiving in Cali

For Thanksgiving this year Brian and I headed down to California to visit my Mom, Jim, Sam and Jake. We arrived on Thanksgiving, so we helped cook and had a great dinner. For Black Friday my Mom and I got up at 1:30am and went shopping! She got some good deals at Target, but man we waited in line for over 4 hours, just to purchase the items! It was still a fun memory we will never forget.

Saturday we went and picked out the Christmas tree.. Brian helped with the lights and then we all decorated the tree. It was so fun watching the kids and how excited they were. We went on a tour of the Jelly Belly factory, very interesting! Then we went and saw Tangled in 3D! VERY cute movie, I def. recommend it! :)

Sunday night we went to Six Flags and watched their Christmas tree lighting ceremony and went to some animal shows. Very cold, but so pretty! While the kids were in school Monday my Mom, Brian and I went to Old Sacramento.. it was pretty cool seeing all the old shops.

The trip went too fast, and of course goodbyes are the hardest thing to do! I still get teary eyed when I think of them and not getting to see them everyday. My little brother and sister are growing up so fast, its hard not to be there and watch. Can't wait until our next trip down!!!
